Maison Luxury East — Vehicle Rental Policy

At Maison Luxury East, we value the trust our clients place in us. Each rental represents more than a transaction — it is an experience rooted in luxury, precision, and professionalism.
Please review this Rental Policy carefully, as it governs all vehicle reservations facilitated through Maison Luxury East, LLC.
By reserving or operating any vehicle within our fleet or partner network, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Renter Eligibility

Age Requirement:
All drivers must be 21 years of age or older. Certain high-performance or limited-production vehicles may require a higher minimum age.

Driver’s License:
A valid, government-issued driver’s license is required for all renters. International renters must also present an International Driving Permit (IDP) accompanied by a passport.

Insurance:
Renters must provide proof of full-coverage automobile insurance in their name, including comprehensive and collision coverage equal to or exceeding the replacement value of the rented vehicle.

Payment Method — Security Deposit (Mandatory):
A debit card in the renter’s name is required for the security deposit. Debit cards are mandatory and must have sufficient available funds at the time of pickup.
Prepaid, virtual, or gift cards cannot be accepted for security deposits under any circumstances.

Credit Card Usage (Not Preferred):
Credit cards are not preferred for any portion of payment. If a renter chooses to use a credit card for rental charges, it must be in their own name and may be subject to additional verification or processing delays such as submitting a credit card authorization. All deposits must still be placed via debit card.

Authorized Drivers Only:
Only individuals listed as authorized drivers on the rental agreement may operate the vehicle. Operation by an unauthorized driver voids the contract and all associated coverage.

2. Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit ranging from $1,000 to $10,000+ (depending on vehicle class) is required prior to release.
Deposits are processed as a debit card authorization/hold and are released once the vehicle is returned in its original condition, free of damage, late fees, or outstanding charges.
Please note: depending on your bank, it may take 3–10 business days for held funds to return to your account.

3. Rental Inclusions & Additional Charges

Mileage:
Each rental includes a set mileage allowance. Additional mileage is billed at the rate stated in your agreement.

Fuel:
All vehicles require premium-grade fuel (91 octane or higher). Proof of fuel purchase may be requested upon return. Incorrect fueling will result in damage and cleaning charges.

Additional Fees:
Renters are responsible for tolls, tickets, parking violations, citations, late returns, cleaning fees, or any other costs incurred during the rental period.

4. Vehicle Care & Responsibility

Condition:
Vehicles must be returned in the same clean and undamaged condition as received.

Damages & Negligence:
Renters are fully responsible for any damages, negligence, or excessive wear sustained during the rental term.

Loss of Use:
If a vehicle is rendered unavailable for future rentals due to renter-caused damage, a “loss of use” fee may be charged for each day the vehicle remains out of service.

Prohibited Use:
Vehicles may not be used for racing, drifting, reckless operation, off-road driving, unauthorized events, or demonstrations.
Violations may result in immediate termination of the agreement and full financial liability.

5. Driving Restrictions & Compliance

Weather Conditions:
Vehicles are not permitted to be driven in snow, flooding, or other hazardous weather conditions that may risk damage or safety.

Traffic Laws:
All renters must comply with applicable local, state, and federal traffic laws. Any fines or penalties incurred during the rental are the renter’s responsibility.

Unauthorized Repairs or Modifications:
No mechanical repairs, detailing, or alterations may be performed on the vehicle without prior written approval from Maison Luxury East.

6. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Standard Cancellations:
Cancelations made at least 72 hours prior to the rental start date are eligible for a full refund.

Holiday & Peak Season Cancellations:
For rentals during major holidays or holiday weekends, cancellations must be made at least 7 days in advance to qualify for a full refund.

Late Cancellations:
Cancellations made within 72 hours (or within 7 days for holidays) are non-refundable.

No-Shows & Early Returns:
Failure to pick up a reserved vehicle or returning a vehicle earlier than scheduled will result in no refund or credit.

Company-Initiated Cancellations:
If Maison Luxury East must cancel a booking due to safety, maintenance, or availability issues, the client will receive either:

  • A full refund, or

  • A comparable replacement vehicle, subject to availability.

7. Additional Considerations

  • Availability, pricing, mileage limits, and deposits vary by vehicle. Please confirm details at the time of booking.

  • Maison Luxury East reserves the right to decline service to any renter who does not meet eligibility or insurance standards.

  • Vehicle-specific terms may apply and will be detailed in your rental agreement.
